PMQ (Former Police Married Quarters)

Located at 35 Aberdeen Street in Central, PMQ was formerly the Police Married Quarters built in 1951. After revitalization, it reopened in 2014 as a creative landmark showcasing Hong Kong’s design talents. The original residential layout has been transformed into studios, boutiques, galleries, and eateries—creating a maze of creativity.

With over 100 local brands and creators, PMQ features fashion, jewelry, homeware, stationery, and art. It also hosts regular events like the deTour design festival and PMQ Coffee Agenda, offering immersive experiences that celebrate creativity in everyday life.

Historical elements such as granite foundations and remnants of the former Central School are preserved within the site, blending heritage with innovation. Whether browsing, photographing, joining a workshop, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, PMQ offers a rich and inspiring journey.
