M+ Museum
Located at 38 Museum Drive in West Kowloon, M+ is a 65,000-square-meter museum designed by Herzog & de Meuron. Its striking LED-clad façade faces Victoria Harbour, making it a bold new icon in Hong Kong’s skyline. Opened in 2021, M+ is dedicated to contemporary visual culture, spanning art, design, architecture, moving image, and pop culture.
Inside, 33 galleries, cinemas, learning hubs, and public spaces host a wide range of exhibitions—from Chinese contemporary art (like the M+ Sigg Collection) to Asian design, animation, video art, and social commentary. The museum fosters dialogue through curated shows, screenings, talks, and community programs.
More than a museum, M+ is a cultural catalyst. Its LED “M+ Facade” regularly showcases moving image works, turning the building itself into a canvas that lights up the city’s nightscape.
