Hong Kong Science Museum

Located at 2 Science Museum Road in Tsim Sha Tsui East, the Hong Kong Science Museum has been a favorite destination for science learning since 1991. With over 500 exhibits—70% of which are interactive—it covers topics from physics and biology to energy, math, and transportation.

The museum’s centerpiece is the 22-meter-high Energy Machine, one of the world’s largest of its kind. It uses rolling red balls to demonstrate energy transformation in a visually and audibly captivating way. Other highlights include the Biodiversity Gallery, Paleontology Hall, Mirror World, and a dedicated Children’s Gallery.

The museum also features a theatre, temporary exhibition halls, and a resource center, hosting regular STEAM programs and science demonstrations. Its spacious, modern layout and proximity to the Hong Kong Museum of History make it ideal for a full day of cultural exploration.
