East Coast Park Precinct

East Coast Park Precinct

Located on the North Point waterfront, the East Coast Park Precinct spans 1.1 hectares with a 425-meter promenade. Opened in phases since 2021, it features a “Windows” design theme—framing the harbour through creative balustrades and installations.

The park includes lawns, benches, shaded pavilions, and a painted zone for kids on balance bikes. Slides and safety mats are built into the sloped seawall, and the space is pet-friendly. A highlight is the 100-meter breakwater—the first of its kind open to the public—offering a nearly 360-degree view of Victoria Harbour.

The precinct also showcases “The Beacon of Hong Kong,” a large-scale word art installation celebrating the city’s diversity. With its blend of leisure, design, and community spirit, this is more than a park—it’s a window into Hong Kong’s evolving harbourfront.

The promenade features themed zones such as:

  • Sunset Steps : Tiered seating for enjoying Victoria Harbour’s golden hour.
  • Dream Playground : With cycling machines, climbing structures, and wireless charging.
  • Fishing Platform : Near North Point Ferry Pier, with sea-level access and loungers.
  • Pet Garden : Equipped with agility obstacles and rest areas for furry friends.
  • Sky Mirror Walkway : A glass boardwalk that gives the illusion of walking on water.
  • Art Corridor : Under the Eastern Corridor, with exhibitions and performance space.
  • Inclusive Plaza : A lawn and square for events and relaxation.
  • Harbour Hub : With restrooms, eateries, and visitor services.
