Avenue of Stars
The Avenue of Stars stretches along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, inspired by the Hollywood Walk of Fame. First opened in 2004 and revitalized in 2019, it was redesigned by renowned landscape architect James Corner to enhance accessibility, interactivity, and artistic flair.
The promenade features handprints and plaques of over 100 Hong Kong film icons—including Bruce Lee, Anita Mui, Leslie Cheung, and Jackie Chan—along with bronze statues and QR codes for deeper storytelling. The handprints are embedded in wooden railings, allowing close-up viewing and photo opportunities.
With shaded seating, viewing decks, and panoramic harbour views, the Avenue is also a prime spot to enjoy the nightly “A Symphony of Lights” show. Nearby attractions like the Hong Kong Museum of Art and K11 MUSEA make this stretch a vibrant blend of culture, leisure, and cinematic legacy.
