Tung Lung Chau
Tung Lung Chau, also known as Tung Lung Island, is a scenic outlying island in southeastern Hong Kong, famed for its dramatic coastal landscapes and historical relics. Highlights include the Tung Lung Rock Carving (the largest prehistoric carving in Hong Kong), a Qing Dynasty fort, and the Fat Tong Mun Lighthouse.
A circular hiking trail offers views of sea cliffs, the famous Blowhole (nicknamed “Dragon Spitting Pearl”), and the striking White Cliff. The island is also popular for camping, rock climbing, and stargazing. Both government and non-government campsites are available, and local snack stalls provide refreshments and simple meals.
