Shui Long Wo

Shui Long Wo sits along Sai Sha Road between Sai Kung and Ma On Shan, forming part of Ma On Shan Country Park. It marks the junction of MacLehose Trail Sections 3 and 4, and features BBQ pits, a campsite, and a short tree walk—making it a favorite for hikers and families.

The highlight is the Shui Long Wo Star Lookout, a 6-meter-high replica of an ancient Chinese observatory. With its sun-shadow alignment and interpretive panels, it offers both educational and celestial experiences. At night, it becomes a peaceful stargazing spot.

The nearby Kei Ling Ha Tree Walk showcases native flora along a 600-meter trail, while the surrounding area offers access to scenic coves and cultural villages. Whether you're hiking, learning, or simply unwinding, Shui Long Wo is a serene escape into nature.
