Pak Lap Wan

Pak Lap Wan is a secluded bay nestled within Sai Kung East Country Park, near the East Dam of High Island Reservoir. With its silky sand, turquoise waters, and dramatic hexagonal volcanic columns, it’s often dubbed the “Maldives of Hong Kong”.

The adjacent Pak Lap Village, a 300-year-old Hakka settlement, now features restored rainbow-colored houses that serve as cafés and guesthouses. Activities include kayaking, snorkeling, hiking to Pak Fu Shan for panoramic views, and camping at the designated government campsite.
