
Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden
Located along Lam Kam Road in Tai Po, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) spans 148 hectares on the northern slopes of Tai Mo Shan. Founded in 1956 to support local farmers, it has evolved into a center for conservation and environmental education, promoting biodiversity and sustainable living.
The park features themed gardens, vegetable terraces, forest restoration zones, and nature trails showcasing over 2,000 native plant species. Its wildlife exhibits include leopard cats, golden coin turtles, parrots, and local pig breeds, along with insect and reptile houses that offer hands-on learning for all ages.
