The Southside

The Southside is a brand-new shopping mall developed by MTR Corporation, located above Wong Chuk Hang Station. With over 510,000 square feet of retail space across five levels, it’s set to host around 150 shops and eateries. The mall began phased openings in late 2023 and will officially launch in December 2024.

It features a wide range of brands—from UNIQLO and Nike to Agnes b and APM Monaco—alongside a supermarket, homeware stores, and family-friendly facilities. Dining options span burgers, ramen, local cafés, and artisanal desserts.

Designed with open-air plazas and natural lighting, the mall also hosts regular events, art installations, and seasonal markets. Seamlessly connected to the MTR and surrounded by residential and office developments, The Southside is fast becoming a vibrant lifestyle destination in the Southern District.
