Kowloon Union Church

Kowloon Union Church

Located at 4 Jordan Road, Kowloon Union Church was built in 1930 and is one of the few churches in Hong Kong co-founded by local Chinese and foreign missionaries. Its red-brick Gothic architecture features pointed arch windows, a bell tower, and timber roof trusses. The building has been well preserved and was declared a monument in 2010.

Inside, the church offers a warm and peaceful atmosphere, with stained glass windows and wooden pews. It hosts English-language services and community outreach programs, including refugee support and interfaith dialogue. Known for its inclusive and socially engaged mission, the church is a meaningful space for reflection and connection.

Though modest in size, Kowloon Union Church is rich in architectural charm and historical depth. Tucked within the busy Jordan district, it remains a quiet sanctuary where heritage and humanity meet.
