Hong Kong Palace Museum
The Hong Kong Palace Museum, located in the West Kowloon Cultural District, is a landmark that blends tradition with modernity. Spanning seven floors with nine galleries, it showcases over 900 treasures from Beijing’s Palace Museum—many of which are on display in Hong Kong for the first time. Exhibits explore Qing dynasty court life, ceramics, imperial portraits, and the dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.
In addition to permanent exhibitions, the museum hosts special exhibitions in collaboration with global institutions, fostering cross-cultural exchange. Inspired by the spatial rhythm of the Forbidden City, the building features viewing terraces, a lecture hall, educational spaces, and dining options—making it a vibrant hub for learning, appreciation, and leisure.
