Stanley

Stanley

Stanley, nestled on the southern coast of Hong Kong Island, is a charming seaside town rich in history and culture. Once a colonial administrative hub, it still houses heritage sites like the Old Stanley Police Station, Post Office, and Military Cemetery.

The heart of Stanley is its market—a maze of stalls selling silk, souvenirs, paintings, and crafts. Along Stanley Main Street and Stanley Plaza, cafés and restaurants line the waterfront, offering relaxed dining with sea views. The plaza also features an amphitheatre that hosts regular events and markets.

Stanley’s two beaches—Stanley Main Beach and St. Stephen’s Beach—are perfect for a stroll or a quiet moment by the sea. Murray House and Blake Pier, both relocated from Central, add architectural charm and photo-worthy backdrops. With its blend of heritage, leisure, and coastal beauty, Stanley is a place where stories linger and the pace slows down.
