Spirit Bookstore

Spirit Bookstore is a nostalgic second-hand bookstore originally founded in 1958. It was a beloved fixture in Sai Wan for many years, offering a treasure trove of books ranging from literature and history to philosophy, comics, and vintage magazines.

One of its highlights is a wall made entirely of stacked books—a popular photo spot. In addition to selling books, the store also rents out vintage-style bicycles, encouraging visitors to explore the old neighborhoods of Sai Wan. Recently, the bookstore relocated to Wanchai’s Wuhu Street, continuing its mission to preserve a space for reading and reflection in the city.
